  1. Jorhat Gymkhana Club
The club’s golf course is list into the World Heritage list as the oldest golf course in Asia and the third oldest in the world. Built in 1876 by D. Slimmons. The club has been a venue for horse races, lawn tennis grass courts, swimming pool, billiards, polo, golf, cricket etc. ever since its inauguration. The Governor’s Cup is played here every year with a lush green 9-hole golf course circuit.
  1. Digboi Golf Club
Amidst the vast expanses of dense forests and exquisite tea estates lies the 18-hole golf course of Digboi, considered to be the best golf course in the whole of Upper Assam. Every year, tournaments, at both national and international level, are played here and people come from all over the country to enjoy or take part in the events. The whole course stands over a huge 6309 yards of land and is considered to be one of the biggest in the northeast India.
  1. Shilong Golf Club
Owing to its greenery and scenic beauty, the United States Golf Association and Museum has given it the title of ‘Gleneagle of the East’. In the year 1898, it was established as a 9-hole golf course at an altitude of 5200 feet. Captain Jackson and C.K. Rhodes converted it to an 18-hole course in 1924, and since then, it has been a favourite haunt of golf aficionados.The longest hole on the course is the 594 yards, Sixths, Which makes it an extremely trying hole and also the longest in India
  1. Marghetrita Golf Club
The Margherita Planters Club Golf Course is situated at Namdang Tea Estate of Mcleod Russel India Limited under the Williamson Magor Group of Enterprises & is about 2 Kms from Margherita Town. The course is supposed to be the best in Assam wrt its topography, undulating fairways, the surrounding scenery & the hills on the north.
  1. Kaziranga Golf Resort
Kaziranga Golf Resort is conceived as a premium heritage resort for spending a holiday in a colonial tea environment. It is situated at Jorhat in a peaceful, serene, yet easily accessible location and is only 75 km. from the world famous Kaziranga National Park – a World Heritage Site declared by UNESCO. The challenging 18 hole, par 71 golf course in the midst of a tea garden is a first of its kind in the world and developed on a 150 acre site.
