Jorhat Gymkhana Club
The club’s golf course is list into the World Heritage list as the oldest golf course in Asia and the third oldest in the world. Built-in 1876 by D. Simmons. The club has been a venue for horse races, lawn tennis grass courts, swimming pool, billiards, polo, golf, cricket etc. ever since its inauguration. The Governor’s Cup is played here every year with a lush green 9-hole golf course circuit.
Digboi Golf Club
Digboi Golf Course lies around the vast expanses of dense forests, Exquisite tea gardens and the beautiful oil township, where Asia;s First drop of oil was dipped, The 18 hole Golf course sit in pride. Hosting tournaments, at both national and international level, and people come from all over the country to enjoy or take part in the events. The whole course stands over a huge 6309 yards of land and is considered to be one of the biggest in northeast India.
Shillong Golf Club
The United States Golf Association and Museum have given it the title of ‘Gleneagle of the East’. In the year 1898, Shillong Golf Club was established, as a 9-hole golf course at an altitude of 5200 feet. Captain Jackson and C.K. Rhodes converted it to an 18-hole course in 1924, and since then, it has been a favourite haunt of golf aficionados. The longest hole on the course is the 594 yards, Sixths, Which makes it an extremely trying hole and also the longest in India!
Margherita Golf Club
The Margherita Planters Club Golf Course is situated at Namdang Tea Estate of Mcleod Russel India Limited under the Williamson Magor Group of Enterprises & is about 2 Kms from Margherita Town. The course is supposed to be the best in Assam worth its topography, undulating fairways, the surrounding scenery & the hills on the north.
Kaziranga Golf Resort

It is an 18-hole Golf Course under measuring 6025 yards in length features fairways across natural mountain streams and ponds as hazards.It is affiliated to the Indian Golf Union.
