CLIMATE AND RAINFALL:
Nagaland is blessed with salubrious climate throughout the year and one can visit it anytime. The region has a largely monsoon climate with high humidity levels. The annual rainfall averages around 70-100 inches every year during the month of may to September. The average temperature ranges from 70°F to 104°F. In winter the temperature do not drop below 34°F.

BY TRAIN: The nearest railway station is Dimapur,which is well connected to kolkata and Guwahati.
BY ROAD: The bus transportation and taxi service is fluent in the state connecting the nearby places. One can get regular buses to Numaligarh and Jorhat in Assam.
Direct buses can also be availed daily between Guwahati and Kohima.
