Day 1 - GUWAHATI TO DIMAPUR (289 KM/ 7 HRS)

You will be received by our representative at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport
of Guwahati, Assam. From the airport, we will be heading to Dimapur It will be a 289 Kms ride.
Dimapur is the largest city of Nagaland. The name Dimapur is derived from the Dimasa
language; 'Di' means 'water', 'ma' means 'large' and 'pur' means 'city', i.e. 'Big-river-city',
associated with the meaning of 'Kachari' which is 'people of the river valley' and after
the river which flows through it (Dhansiri). Enjoy the glimpse of the ruins of Kachari Kingdom
at the evening.

Day 2 - DIMAPUR TO KOHIMA (68 KM/ 3 HRS)

Post Breakfast, we will drive towards Kohima- capital city of Nagaland. The name, Kohima,
was officially given by the British as they could not pronounce the Angami(tribe) name
of Kewhira. It is called after the wild flowering plant ‘Kewhi’ found in that area. After a
good lunch, roam around the streets and shop in the local market. Have a Naga Traditional Dinner.

Day 3 - KOHIMA TO DZUKOU VALLEY


It’s the time you were waiting for! Post breakfast, we will head towards Dzukou Valley.
Located 20 km towards south of Kohima, Dzukou Valley is located at the bottom of a large
crater of an extinct volcano. Situated at an altitude of 2450 m, it is by far the best trekking
route of Nagaland. From a village called Viswema, we have to continue our trip by foot.
It will take around 2-3 hours to reach the Dzukou Valley Rest House .The panoramic views
of the valley, the majestic mountains surrounding you and the natural green environment
makes the trek most worthwhile and memorable.

Day 4 - EXPLORE DZUKOU VALLEY

Post breakfast, we will head towards the main valley. It will be an hour trek to reach the
valley of flowers. If you are lucky enough then you might get to see the rare Dzukou Lily
found in the valley. Relax yourself by sitting and enjoying the picturesque valley.After
spending quality time in the valley, we will head back to the campsite, have lunch and begin our trek back to the village.
Back to Homestay in the late afternoon.

Day 5 - EXPLORE KOHIMA

After so much of trekking and adventure, Post Breakfast we will explore some of the
beautiful places of Kohima. The places included are:
Kohima Museum: As Nagaland is constituted of many tribes, this museum All of 16 tribal
groups are a part of Nagaland and all of them are represented here. The clan motifs, colorful
traditional dresses, dialect, practices and traditions are displayed at the museum.
Kohima War Cemetary: This beautiful site is dedicated to the 10,000 Allied soldiers who
lost their lives during the Japanese invasion during the World War-II.
Kohima Cathedral
Kisama Heritage Village: This village is situated in the outskirts of Kohima. This village
seeks to promote and preserve the cultural traditions of the Naga people. The famous
‘Hornbill Festival’ which usually takes place in the month of December held here.

Day 6 - KOHIMA TO KHONOMA( 20 KM/ 1 HR)

Post Breakfast, we will head towards a beautiful destination called Khonoma. Situated at
a distance of about 20 kms from Kohima, Khonoma Green Village is one of its kinds in India.
The village is the home of the Angami tribe who have given up hunting and only practice
agriculture (jhum or shift agriculture) to make a living. The houses in Khonoma are made
using natural means and it is a way of Angami to show concern for the conservation of
natural resources. In this green village, baskets are woven and handloom work is carried
on along with agriculture. Khonoma is undoubtedly an inspiring place that takes us one
step closer to nature and urges us to take initiatives to conserve and protect our natural
environment. Spend your lovable time and observe the daily life of people in this beautiful
village and get back to Kohima at the evening.

Day 7 - KOHIMA TO WOKHA (77 KM/ 3 HRS)

Post early breakfast, we will head towards Tuophema. A tourist village which is situated
about 41 kms away from Kohima, Tuophema is built around ethnic model of tourism.
The village offers traditionally styled thatched huts, traditional artefacts, jewelleries, clothing
and souvenir museum and authentic Naga delicacies. Spend some quality time in the
village and after lunch we will restart our onward journey towards Wokha. We will reach
Wokha by evening.

Day 8 - EXPLORE WOKHA

After an early breakfast, we will explore this small town.Wokha is the land of Lotha tribe
and one has a wonderful opportunity here to interact with the tribal people and see their
traditional art and craft. There is a dam which is 2 hrs drive from Wokha. The name of
the dam is Doyang Hydro Project Dam. This offers a splendid view of the reservoir from
the dam. Post lunch we will return to Wokha.

Day 9 - WOKHA TO JORHAT (125 KM/ 4 HRS)

Now while coming back to Jorhat, rewind those trekking through Dzukou Valley, watching
Dzukou Lily for the first time and enjoying the sunrise which will stick into your memory
forever, enjoying the culture of the beautiful tribes, the zigzag roads of Wokha and the
splendid view of the Doyang Reservoir. We will drop at Jorhat Airport.
End of tour.

Finderbridge reserves the right to modify the itinerary at any point, due to reasons including but not limited to: Force Majeure events, pandemic lockdowns, strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, overbooking of hotels / flights, cancellation / re-routing of flights, closure of / entry restrictions at a place of visit, etc. While we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements, we would not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of this.

The package of the tour may vary on the number of people that will be coming in the tour.

Confirmation Policy

  • Payment can be done in parts.
  • After making your first payment, you will get an email confirmation.
  • Once you make the 100% payment for your booking, you'll get the booking voucher containing all the information about your trip.

Refund Policy

The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days.

Cancellation Policy

  • If cancellation are made 30 days before the date of travel then 25.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellation are made 15 days to 30 days before the date of travel then 50.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellation are made 0 days to 15 days before the date of travel then 100.0% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

Payment Terms Policy

100% of total tour cost will have to be paid 10 days before the date of travel.
